Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a man was sexually assaulted near Pride Park in Derby.
The incident is reported to have taken place in the area close to the stadium, where the victim was approached and assaulted by another man. Officers say the victim was left shaken by the attack and is being supported by specialist teams.
As part of the investigation, Derbyshire Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe may have information that could help enquiries. Detectives are urging anyone who recognises the individual, or who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, to come forward.
A police spokesperson said all reports of sexual assault are treated extremely seriously and encouraged witnesses or anyone with relevant information to contact officers as soon as possible. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers.
The force has reassured the public that extra patrols may be carried out in the area while enquiries continue.
