The Bangles frontwoman posted to Instagram just a few days after turning 65 to tell her fans that she’s not only a little bit older now, but she’s also wiser — and she seemed more than happy about all of it. She even did so while completely fresh-faced and makeup-free.

“I’m 65. Time marches on, but it’s all good,” she said in her sweet video. “No makeup. It’s gonna be OK, getting older is OK. It really is. Older and wiser.

”If it looks like Hoffs hasn’t aged a day since her band’s heyday in the 1980s and 1990s, that’s because she pretty much hasn’t. She further proved that fact just last month when she put on a dress from nearly three decades ago that she found in her closet, reliving a fond moment from yesteryear. Looking at Hoffs in the dress now and in the dress 28 years ago, it was hard to tell the difference between the two scenes.

“This is the dress that I wore a lot,” Hoffs said to the camera while showing off the figure-hugging garment in her closet, adding that it felt “funny” to revisit it.”
