JUST IN: Former 5-star, top Pa. prospect getting extended look at Penn State spring practices

STATE COLLEGE — J’ven Williams, a former standout high school prospect from Pennsylvania, has had a relatively quiet college career so far — but that may be changing.

The redshirt sophomore offensive lineman is now taking on a more prominent role in Penn State’s spring practices.

With last year’s co-starting right tackles, Nolan Rucci and Anthony Donkoh, both currently sidelined, Williams has stepped in as the main right tackle.

Although he’s practiced at both tackle and guard, he’s currently anchoring the right side of the line during camp.
