Fire Erupts at The Bears Campus, Emergency Declared
May 22, 2025 — Chicago, IL
An emergency has been declared after a fire broke out at The Bears Campus approximately 30 minutes ago. Thick smoke and flames were seen billowing from one of the main training facilities, prompting a rapid response from local fire departments and emergency services.
Initial reports suggest that the legendary former coach, known as “Buffalo Bill,” may have been on-site during the incident. Authorities have not confirmed his whereabouts or condition at this time. Eyewitnesses claimed to have seen someone matching his description being escorted away by medical personnel, but details remain unverified.
Firefighters are currently working to contain the blaze, which has already caused significant damage to parts of the complex. Officials are urging the public to stay clear of the area to allow emergency crews full access.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No fatalities have been reported as of now, but several minor injuries have been confirmed.
More information will be released as the situation develops.
