JUST IN: Two top Ohio State five-star prospects have announced their commitment dates.

The Ohio State football team, under head coach Ryan Day, kicked off the week with a notable trip to Washington, D.C., where they were recognized for winning the expanded College Football Playoff National Championship. While the visit to the capital dominated Monday’s news, the Buckeyes also made waves in the recruiting world.

 

Two top-tier prospects from the 2026 recruiting class revealed their commitment dates and updated their lists of preferred schools. Ohio State is already off to a strong start in this recruiting cycle, having secured verbal commitments from 10 elite recruits. The class is headlined by five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. and standout safety Blaine Bradford, with hopes of adding more top talent soon.

 

Among the day’s key announcements, five-star safety Bralan Womack from Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi, shared that he will announce his college decision on August 23.
